Enjoy Fitness Outdoors

Wednesday 9.30 - 10 am - starting 8th July - Personal training Tunbridge Wells

In line with Government guidelines, we are now able to exercise outdoors together.  How exciting, I have longed for this day!

Our outdoor classes will have a maximum of 5 places per class and will adhere to the 2 metre rule.  This will be a bodyweight class, for now, but I would like to start adding equipment when the guidelines are relaxed a little more.  Many of you have been regularly exercising with us and it would be good to progress to using weights.  Until we are able to share equipment, please do bring your own weights (dumbells, kettlebells etc) if you would like to use them in class.

Please book your place in advance via the bookings page on our website, it's £8 Pay as you Go.

Enjoy Fitness Online The online classes are working brilliantly. Ellie and I love teaching them, thank you all for embracing these classes and supporting The Enjoy Movement.  There are 4 classes you can choose from each week and if you get the unlimited pass you also have access to class recordings.

When we transferred online we did this with the awareness that many of us had been impacted financially. We were keen to keep our community moving and support everyone through hard times.

Enthusiasm for online continues and we are keen to be able to keep offering this, alongside in-person classes as lockdown eases.  To make this sustainable, however, we need to increase the cost of our online products.

From 13th July online pay as you go classes will be £5 a class and the monthly unlimited class pass will increase to £30 per pass.

We hope you understand the reason for increasing the prices, we still feel we are competitively priced and plan to develop The Enjoy Movement Online over the coming months to offer additional free content and products.

Enjoy Flex (stretch and mobility) OnlineThe wonderful Zannah taught an Enjoy Flex trial class a few weeks ago.  Feedback was great and we are keen to add it to the timetable.  Due to the current situation, and childcare logistics, this has now been pushed back until September.  I look forward to sharing this class with you then when it will become part of the online offering.

I am currently researching experiences of digital/online fitness packages.

Restrictions are lifting and for many of us this results in some reflection on how things have changed since March.  Specifically, the things we would like to take forward and the things we would like to leave behind.  I know many are feeling the desire for a personal re-set and to address some of the lifestyle changes we have made in lockdown that may not be serving us well now.

Some of us have been struggling to sleep.  Being sleep deprived has a massive impact on all elements of our wellbeing, particularly our food choices and motivation to exercise.  I think it's very difficult to tackle any issues with these if you are not getting enough sleep.  I wanted to share the work of Scientist Matthew Walker.  He is an expert on sleep and is brilliantly engaging on the topic.  He has many resources (google him) but I wanted to highlight a TED interview he did back in April this year.  I think it's all fascinating but if you're pushed for time skip to 20 minutes in and he shares tips for what to do if you have a had a bad night's sleep or can't get to sleep.

If you're feeling the need for a little re-set yourself, please have a read of my blog for some tips on how to do this in an enjoyable, kind and sustainable way that won't increase your already inflated stress levels.

Thank you for reading this far!  I wish you all the best look forward to sharing again in July. The Enjoy Movement - Personal Training Tunbridge Wells
