Carole is the Founder of The Enjoy Movement.  She qualified as a Personal Trainer in 2010 with a desire to work with women embracing exercise to feel good. Carole is passionate about creating an inclusive fitness environment. She has seen first hand how the diet and fitness industry has made women feel excluded, judged and intimidated and this is why Carole created The Enjoy Movement.  

“Exercising in the gym often made me feel insecure and isolated.  As a personal trainer I think most people expect me to crack the whip and push my clients to extremes, both with food and exercise, to get results. My approach to health and fitness is different and has often made me feel that I don’t fit in…but now I know it is for a good reason. I don’t believe in quick fixes, body transformations, meal plans, food restrictions or weight loss as the motivating goal. Many years of experience has taught me that these methods fail to create sustainable change and more commonly lead to negative self-image and a pattern of yo-yo dieting and exercise. 

I believe it really helps if the focus is on enjoyment and feeling the emotional and physical benefits of exercise. The lift in your mood, the rise in your energy levels, the increased focus and reduction in stress, the increased strength and power. Exercise is a powerful tool for mental and physical health and my job is to inspire, educate and motivate you to embrace it”.

  • GP referrals – working with special populations (obesity, diabetes, depression, anxiety, osteoporosis, hypertension, arthritis, back pain, COPD, hypercholesterolemia)

  • Senior Fitness Specialist

  • Pre-natal and post-natal exercise specialist

  • Exercise, nutrition and weight management

  • Client psychology and motivation

  • Ricky Hatton Boxing for Fitness Elite Instructor

  • Childhood nutrition

  • ViPR (loaded movement training)

  • First aid qualified

 
I came to personal training with a variety of medical issues that needed careful management and years of horrible school PE lessons to overcome. Carole is amazing. She has factored in my needs and makes sure I am always well supported but still making progress. In just a short amount of time Carole has helped me achieve things I would never have thought possible and most amazingly actually enjoying movement. I see Carole, work hard and feel good.
